For Carers

Headway Southampton serves as a focus of support for families and carers. Advice on the care management of people with brain injuries is available from our own full time staff.

For Work Experience

We regularly take on health and social care students from Brockenhurst College and Southampton University students for work experience placements. This gives potential healthcare professionals and invaluable insight into acquired brain injury.

For Community Service Providers

We work with service users to produce presentations based on their own experience of having had a brain injury. These presentations are available for community service providers and are good training for all those who work in this field. This helps to raise the awareness of brain injury in the wider community.
